Boat rental on the Manavgat River: board on the river, swim where it meets the sea

From river to sea
Every other rental in this catalogue starts from a marina or a harbour. These two start on a river. You board on the Manavgat River, and the first part of the day is the slow run downstream, between the riverbanks rather than out on open water, until the river reaches the delta and meets the Mediterranean.
That river mouth is where both boats stop for the first swim. From there they turn along the Side peninsula, where the Temple of Apollo stands above the water, and on to bays the group chooses with the captain before the return. The Manavgat River and Side by boat follows that route stop by stop.
The gulet: for the whole party
The gulet is a traditional wooden boat in the river-boat style, and it takes more guests than any other charter here: up to about 50 people, from €750 for the whole boat, with about 7 hours on the water. It suits family reunions, wedding parties, company outings and friends' groups too big for any yacht. The VIP boat: twelve and under
For a smaller group, the VIP boat follows the same river out but keeps the day more compact: about 6 hours, up to 12 guests, from €545 for the whole boat. It is available on request, and the boat may be a wooden boat or a yacht. The first swim and lunch happen at the river mouth. Lunch is included: fish, grilled chicken or meatballs, meze and salads, with the menu depending on the boat. All drinks are excluded. After lunch the group decides with the captain whether to head along the Side Peninsula to a bay near the Temple of Apollo, or toward the turtle island area (Caretta Caretta island). A transfer is optional, at extra cost, from Kumköy, Evrenseki, Kızılağaç and nearby areas.
Manavgat town, the river and its delta
- Manavgat town: staying in town puts you on the river the boats use, but our record does not name the boarding point, so we confirm it after booking. If you would rather not make your own way, both boats offer a transfer at extra cost; ask for the price in your request.
- The river and its delta: this is where your day happens rather than where you stay. The delta is the first swim stop on both boats, and on the VIP boat it is where lunch is served too. If your hotel is close to the river mouth, tell us; we confirm the meeting point and whether a transfer is worth adding.

Can we choose the turtle island instead of the Apollo bay?
On the VIP boat, yes: after the river mouth the group decides with the captain between a bay near the Temple of Apollo and the turtle island area.
